REDEVELOPING WESTSIDE CHATTANOOGA
1. College Hill: Located in a transitional zone between the Downtown and the Westside, College Hill Courts is subject to steep decline, social isolcation and job inaccessbility. Strategies are used to address these problems directly, and transform it into a livable neighborhood offering diverse housing options and more balanced rental and ownership pattern. 453 units are created supporting 1132 people at 11.5 units/acre density.
2. Riverfront District: The District is a model of waterfront live-work environment: a mixed-use, multi-purpose district of affordable housing, service apartments, rental office, retail, restaurants, theatre, public amenities. 44.9 % site coverage or 6.1 acres will be developed with water views, supported by river amenities and transport.
