RMIT Vietnam implemented Phase 2 of its 12 ha campus along Saigon South’s Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard. Services included Master Plan and Architectural Design for two new buildings: Student Housing and Sports Center. The new master plan re-phased the overall campus development into 3 distinct stages: Stage 1, 2, and 3 (A,B,C). Pressure
for immediate visibility along the boulevard infl uenced arrangement of buildings in the new master plan and shared defi ned the architecture of the two buildings. The Student Housing was made up of four distinct blocks, designed with interchangeable bay widths to create a sense of dynamism on the facade along the boulevard. The Sports Center accommodated a basketball, a climbing wall, gyms, and an observatory. The materials were concrete, alluminum, and wood.
